Week 4 review - King Country in tight match against Thames Valley
A try from lock Lance Tibby midway through the second half proved decisive in King Country's 13-9 win over Thames Valley in their AA Rewards Heartland Championship match in Taupo today.
The victory enabled King Country to close in on Wairarapa Bush's lead in pool A of the competition.
Wairarapa, who lost 12-18 to Horowhenua-Kapiti today, lead with 14 points, following by King Country on 13.
Jared Morrell kicked two penalties and converted Tibby's try.
Fullback David Harrison kicked three penalties for Thames Valley.
