Wanganui sit in fifth-place on the ladder and take on North Otago in a shoot-out for a Meads Cup semifinal position at Cooks Gardens.


South Canterbury sit at the top of the ladder and have the chance to wrap up top spot when they travel north to take on East Coast in Ruatoria.

One of the clashes of the round will take place in Westport where second-placed Horowhenua Kapiti take on Buller with the winner securing a home semifinal.

Poverty Bay still have a chance to sneak into the Lochore Cup semifinals (teams placed 5-8) when they take on Thames Valley in Te Aroha. The Swamp Foxes currently sit three points ahead of Poverty Bay in eighth place.

Mid Canterbury are poised at sixth on the ladder on 21 points and can wrap up a home Lochore Cup semifinal with a victory over King Country.
